Requirements:

• Experience in development of secure embedded systems, especially cryptographic libraries on SmartCards
• Expert knowledge of cryptography, including side-channel attacks
• Experience in developing countermeasures for side-channel attacks

Scope of work:

• Guidance of REC team in area of symmetric and asymmetric ciphers implementation and size/performance optimization
• Guidance of REC team for secure implementation (Side-Channel Attacks and Fault Injection software and hardware countermeasures)
• Security architecture guidance for implementation of CryptoLibrary algorithms on 16 and 32 bit secure microcontroller (ones with hardware coprocessors)
• Security review for implementation
• Preparation and maintenance of project architecture documents
• Preparation, review and update of Common Criteria certification process documentation
• Support during CC certification process
• Ensure architecture link between customer and contractor (REC Wroclaw

This person should lead the team in technical aspects related to cryptography. Main responsibilities would include:

• Specification of secure software
• Design of secure software
• Review of secure software and related documentation
• Coaching the team - building up cryptographic knowledge within the team
